Why the brief is free.

72 hours after you tell us your brand and product, you get back a competitor breakdown, three or four hooks we'd test, and one finished sample frame. No card. No commit.

There's a thing creative agencies do where they require a contract — sometimes a deposit — before they'll show you any work. The logic, charitably, is that they don't want to do free spec work for prospects who'll never sign. The actual effect is that the customer agrees to spend money before they have any idea what kind of work they're agreeing to.

We do the opposite. Tell us your brand and product line. Within 72 hours we send back: a competitor breakdown of who's winning in your category and on what hooks, three or four hook ideas we'd test for you, and one finished sample frame on your product (AI-generated, brand-locked). All of that costs you nothing. If it's not interesting, walk.

The reason we can do this: the brief is mostly automated. Our scan layer already has the competitor data — for most categories we've been tracking the active brands for weeks before you arrive. The decoded patterns are already in our system. Generating a sample frame on your product takes one nb2 call, ~$0.07 of compute. The producer review on the way out adds maybe 20 minutes of human time.

So: the marginal cost of one brief is ~$30 of human review. The expected conversion from a high-quality brief to a paying customer is somewhere around 25-40% in our experience. A $30 wedge to land a customer who'll ship $99 of clips that month and likely more after is correct math. It would be wrong math at 5% conversion, which is what an unfocused agency pitch would convert at — but the brief is focused: it's already shaped by what's actually winning in your specific category, not a templated pitch.

Mechanically: book the brief at the sign-up page. We ask three things — brand name, product URL, who you compete with (optional, we'll figure it out either way). 72 hours later, deliverables in your inbox. After that, you decide.
